99.5RT Website Coming Soon!

 I can’t wait for the new home of 99.5 RT The Rhythm of the City on the world wide web. I used to be a forum member of the previous site and I gain a lot of good friends. I hope that they revive the forum. It really helps making good relationship between DJs and the listeners. I also hope that the site is more interactive than the previous one and also more secure and stable (ilang beses na-DOWN yung site, huhuhu). 

The Rhythm Of The City is back!

It was originally known as 99.5 RT from 1976 to 2006, as 99.5 Hit FM from 2007 to March 19, 2008, and as Campus 99.5 from March 23 to August 14, 2008. On September 1, 2008, the frequency reverted back to the 99.5 RT brand.

Its good to hear again the old RT station slogan “The Rhythm of the City 99.5RT!”. It bring back lots of good memories on this station. From the cool DJ’s, fantastic playlist and awesome contests and events.I felt sad when I heard that 99.5RT is signing off last 2006 and it will become 99.5HIT FM. But when I tuned in, I get used to it and the longer it goes on the more I like the new format. Still they have the coolest DJ and for me an even better playlist and programming. There was Sunday Session, Home Run, Wake Up Call, Reel Hit Soundtrack, Beauty and Bahagz, Slyde Show, Midnight Ride and the Brewrats show. Im not aware when the HITFM is changed to Campus, I only heard it from my classmate. Honestly, I dont like Campus programming and playlist and mostly the DJ’s (sorry). I barely tuned in and sometimes only on Brewrats. When I heard that 99.5 is facing again a reformat/re-branding, it excites me because Campus is out. And on the first day of broadcast of 99.5 and they played the old slogan Im happy that 99.5RT is back again from where it started.
