I'm not a coffee drinker and that's clear. And that means that I don't know on what other coffee tastes like. But from what I’ve tasted between the two of the famous coffee shops in the Philippines namely Starbucks Coffee and Seattle’s Best Coffee (which is Starbucks owned). I’m talking about the tasty White Chocolate Mocha. It was presented differently on Seattle’s Best (and I think it has to do with the price… lolz, more expensive by Php5-10.) it’s nicer. The taste of Seattle’s version is much better than the Starbucks. So I go for Seattle’s Best Coffee. It doesn’t mean that Seattle’s have the better coffee, there’s lot of coffee to choose. But I don’t have plan to taste more coffee flavors, maybe still White Chocolate Mocha or the sinful Macadamian ( at Gloria Jeans).

I missed the pilot airing of Evening with Tado, Angel (aka "Erning") and Ramon Bautista on 99.5 Hit FM. They are the famous trio in the now defunct TV show Strangebrew on UNTV. I enjoy watching their wacky adventures. Who can forget the famous "tama"… and the Volkswagen and of course Joan (the cactus on the noodle cup). If you enjoy them a lot on TV, you will also enjoy them on radio. I'm able to listen to the show last night and its cool. They are talking about learning the world of DJ's, from the sound effects to microphones. Their timeslot is from 9pm to 12mn Monday till Thursday and I think also during weekends. But i'm not so sure about that.
After passing a plate in Geotechnical Engineering, I decided to go home and just took a bus instead of train. With second thought, I took the train. I have a 100 peso bill and just go to PAO to buy a Santolan bound ticket. The PAO personnel told me that if I like to have coins (1 peso coin) for my change and of course I REFUSE it. He also told me to make it a smaller bill and I just say THANK YOU and left. SO I JUST TOOK A BUS. Lesson learned, TRUST your FIRST INSTINCT.
Peyupi.com is Back!
I'm happy that the site is up again. I miss most is the Lounge… where we do lots of conversation. And also the people… the whole community and also my ponkan na ponkan rank. Everytime I go online I always check the Peyupi.com bookmark on my browser and I'm surprised that the site is online. I almost jump off my seat when I see it (with over exaggeration). It was a totally new Peyupi.com and it's a flashy one. Kudos to Renneth ("the genius" and "the generous" also the mastermind behind Peyupi.com)and according to him the site is now a blogging community where everyone is entitled to have one blog. With this new format, there will be no forum… also the rank system. Overall I like the NEW idea.
In life you may feel tired of fighting for the same reason everyday, you may feel that everyones moving so fast, leaving you FAR behind and you may feel that theres no point of moving on.. Theres no certainty in life, its not how you played the game. Put in mind that at times its better to be like a turtle who patiently moves and enjoys every step of the way rather that a rabbit who runs so fast and missing every single detail in life..
~a forwarded message from a classmate
I know that life is a fast paced game and I think i am moving too slow to stay on the flow. There are lots of things that make me a step behind, family problems, peer pressure and my own weaknesses. Resolving the first two could be difficult if the latter roots its cause. I'm trying to deal with my own monster but it seem I cant beat it. I can't find a room in myself where i can feel what i wanted to feel. All are occupied with frustrations, loneliness, sorrows, fear and jealousy. Beside all those things, I'm keeping a positive outlook in life and MOVE ON.
It was my favorite online music game and it was the best. This online browser game is filled with good music. My favorite is Blown Away.
Here are some screen caps:
And we wait above a road.
We're turning to go home.
And the silence from the side of the car,
Tells me everything and how we are.
Is there no more trying to make this so right.
Theres no more trying tonight.
And you know it's not so easy when you're all alone,
And I wonder if, I'm alone in your head.
I know something is wrong,
I just don't know what to do.
You say it's only me, and, that I'm so perfect for you.
I don't want to try no more,
I don't want to make this right.
I just want you to be true to me one time.
And you know it's not so easy when you're all alone,
And I wonder if I'm alone in your head.
Twelve days gone by, since I have saw you last,
I'll give this one more try,
I'll give it all my best, and, I'll ask
What could you be doing that is so much fun?
Without me by your side,
Without me by your side.
And, I will take a step back, and, I'll let you ahead,
And, I will take a step away, and, see if you come back,
Because there's no more trying to make this so right,
Theres no more trying,
Theres no more trying tonight.
We will never be the same,
We will never be the same,
We will never be the same,
We will never be the same,
Until you're done.

~Rain

After the long summer, finally the wet season arrive. Not having enough rain for months gave us a lot of worries. Major dams in Luzon are nearly hitting its critical level, which led to cutting of supply to some areas and set a timed rationing of water. Not only in the Metro are affected by the long dry season. Farmers, most specially the small scale are problematic about their water supply which some of them only relies on rainfall. After the Cardinal issued an Oratio Imperata Ad Petendam Pluviam (Obligatory Prayer to Request for Rain) and an Intercessory Prayers for Rain to be prayed on all masses in Archdioceses of Manila, Chedeng come along. We can say that it’s an answered prayer and God showed us too much love for that. We only ask for a rain but he gave us tropical storm. But do the rain fall at the right place? It looks like that in some places in Luzon is still in lack of rain water for rice fields to even just get damp while the Metro is soaked in flood. The good thing is dams are gaining water to reach a stable water level. For now flash floods, landslide, strong winds and brown-outs are the things we have to deal with. Tropical storm Dodong is already in the Philippines, praying and hoping that it would not stay that long.

If you think this thing is new, it’s not. LPG fed vehicles is been around the streets of different countries for decades. South Korea, Japan, Australia, Turkey, and Italy are some of the leading countries using LPG as fuel for vehicles.
LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is one of the most common alternative fuel today [How Stuff Works] and it’s a versatile one. We all knew that this can be used for cooking and heating, and it comes in compact tanks that we can use for camping and other activities. It is also used in metal, glass or ceramics industries as source of heat. And it does can be found on your car.
Because of strive in finding out a cost-efficient, environmental friendly, profitable (in terms of ROI) fuel, the world led to the use of LPG to run vehicles. Many studies prove that the emission is better than regular fuel. The cost of LPG is much lower than the regular one. Buses, taxis and other public transport that convert to LPG can enjoy its benefits in the long run.
There are currently 9 million vehicles run in LPG worldwide [WLPGA]. Some LPG powered cars comes on OEM or converted. There are car manufactures give options on some of their models. Ford Motors and Diamler-Chryler offers LPG powered cars on their models. Some of the models are Ford Crown Victoria, Dodge Ram, Ford F-150 truck, Chevrolet Cavalier and Toyota Camry. Cars can also be a dual powered car, LPG and diesel.
